When Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi is coming up with the great innitiative ' Clean-Ganga Movement' ,We should be grateful to a martyr saint who has sacrificed his life fr "ma ganga" fr his Save-Ganga-Movement.
Swami Nigamananda Saraswati who was often referred as 'Ganga-Putra' .... son of bihar, frm 'matri sadan' Haridwar fought his battle against illigal mining there.
Surprisingly his contribution and his movement was neglected by administration !! At age of 35, this brilliant vedic scholar n saint died, unattended by media,elite society and govt.
I urge ppl not to forget, ppl who are the real contributors...to mark their martyrhood when we further move towards that direction.
