' SHIVOHAM ' ~ "I Am Shiva"
So beautiful !! The highest possible beauty is in this only.... not only Shivtattva is there within - but I AM that whole....
Any scripture yu read , any sermon is given , there yu find this ultimate truth * I AM THAT though i dont know what is that * . I need not know, Beyond knowing and the knower is He - and that purusha i AM ...... Where would stay that desire then, even the desire to know myself ??

No vessel no space anymore within the vessel.... no pot to hold the perception to differentiate between inside and outside....no slayer or the slain,, no two, no velocity, no desire for the union. Space merged in infinite space . Mind with its purest intellect melted in the Supreme reality itself. Nothingness is full in contentment - O lord , I AM !! Whatever is - is this Atman only.

Starting frm there where i hav stopped translating the following verse no 27 where He sings  ~
"I know not Shiva1, How can I speak of Him ?
Who Shiva is I know not, How can I worship Him ".  No subject no object, nothing is relative or absolute. The highest possible bliss in oneself is Shiva. Where no knower no knowledge no knowing exists.... Who n How one can worship another form which is imaginery ??

'Brahman' and 'Shiv' is not two : They are One with ATMAN.... Absolute, Purest. What is there to realize when He is me n I am He. Me seizes, He seizes...what remains is

♡ Lord Kashi Vishwanath ♡

Last year, when i visited Kashi at the call of an organization to attend the Navaratri Utsav, that was an experience and here is another one.
I love to visit mandirs alone. Why ? Because the meeting with the lord should not be accompanied with the word "Hurry". If one is in hurry, to catch up the group everytime - the heart , in that hurried state is unable to feel the 'bliss'.

I was to enter HIS temple through the first gate (chatradwar)  where the ricksawman has dropped me. I knew it could be easier to enter via the next lane as less no of ppl enter through that gate, but i choose to walk in the way He made me to walk that time.

Holding the pooja daali in hand and waiting in a very long que chanting my eyes closed 'Om Namah Shivaya' 'Om Namah Shivaya' - just by touching my daala n following a lady in front of me i was moving forward....
Suddenly "uuuuhhhhh maaah" a sound in utter fear made me open my eyes. That elderly lady was screaming in fear as a big monkey has snached her pooja thaali n was enjoing the prasad which she was carrying fr pooja. I saw in my daali they hav given 2 mala n many belpatras. I shared some with her frm that.

Suddenly got to see a decent looking couple was arguing with a policeman who was managing the huge crowd telling " are hame janebhi dijiye bhai - hamare rudrabhishek chal rahi  hai aabhi " . Without knowing what i was doing exactly, i left the line, walked upto them and said " i hav come here to pray fr the safety of the one who has gone now to serve the humanity . Can yu please take me along with yu upto baba without wasting my time in this que ?" They said "sure !! please come with us" And in  next few moments i was there at the gate of 'garvgruha' where the diva-abhishekam was taking place.

Got to see Lord  Vishwanath's abhishekam, could pray fr whom it was necessory at that moment ,had His prasada, got a handful of holy bibhuti by the priest, spend sometime in Annapurna ma's temple looking at her beautiful eyes and near gyanvapi kuan.... thanked the lord frm core of my heart fr eveeything and silently came back with heart filled with gratitude to the lord of Kashi .

Aashadi-Katha

Soukh se kharidi
Kaanch ki chhuriyan
Sone se bharaya hath...
Bola pehchan, tu hai Vimala
Pati hain Jagannath :-)
Yaad nahi kya kehkar Narayan

Jiski patni mana khudko
Maryada to rakkh !!
Mukut chhadadun sirper tera
Galepe chandrahaar
Kamar sajegi mekhla dharkar
Pairme swarn jhanjhar...
Koi na kahe ye kaisi Lakshmi
kahan iske Narayan,
Swikaar ye bhet
or chal sathme
ho aab Dwiragaman...
Rath me chadayi
bannkar sanyasin
Bann lakshmi laut ghar.
Parvati thi raja ki putri
Daasi thi shivki magar :-)

Shivaratri : Prasida Prasida Prabho Poornaroope

1."Pashunaam patim paapa naasham paresham,
Gajendrasya krittim vasaanam varenyam,
jataa jata madhye sphurad Gangavari
Mahaadevamekam smaraami smaraami."

[I contemplate upon that Supreme-Lord (Mahadeva), who is the Master of all living beings (Jivas), the annihilator of sins; great among Gods; adorable; wearer of the hide of the elephant bodied demon (Gajasura); and carrier of the foaming Ganga on his matted hair.(After slaying the elephant bodied demon Gajasura, Lord Siva tore its body and wore its hide on his person and danced in ecstasy over His victory. He is thus referred to as the wearer of Gajendra’s skin). ]

2."Mahesham Suresham suraaraati naasham
vibhum Vishwanaatham vibhootyanga bhoosham,
Viroopaaksham indvarka vahnitri netram,
sadaananda meede prabhum pancha vaktram."

[Praises unto Almighty God (Maheshwara), who is the lord of divinities; destroyer of the demons; Omnipotent; lord of the universe; whose body is bedecked with the jewels of the sacred ash; who has three unique eyes constituted of the moon, sun and fire; who is the lord of creation; ever-blissful; adorable; and is five-faced. ]

3."Gireesham Ganesham galay neelavarnam
Gavendraadi roodham, gunaateeta roopam,
Bhavam bhaasvaram bhasmana bhooshitaangam,
Bhavaani kalatram bhaja panchavaktram."

[I worship the lord of Kailash Mountain; who is the lord of the godheads; whose neck is bluish; who rides on the king of bulls; who is beyond form; who is the prime cause (of all causes); who is effulgent; whose body shines with the jewels of the sacred ash; who is wedded to Bhavani; and who is five faced.]

4."Shivaakaant Shambho shashaankaardh moule,
Maheshaan shaktin jataajoota dhaarin,
tvameko jagad vyaapako vishwa roopa
praseeda praseeda prabho poorna roopa."

[O Beloved of Gauri! Bestower of auspiciousness; Carrier of the crescent moon on the head; Lord of the universe; Holder of the Trident; wearer of the matted hair; You are One (non-dual, means no one is equal to Him); O All-pervading embodiment of the universe! Be pleased, be pleased.]

5."Paraatmaanam ekam jagat beejam aadyam
nireeham niraakaram omkaara vedyam,
Yato jaayate paalyate yena vishwam
tameesham bhaje leeyate yatra vishwam."

[Adorations to that Supreme-spirit, who is One (none is equal or alternative to Him); Who is the seed of the universe (means, the entire universe is born out of Him); Who is Ancient; Who is desireless (having no desires or ambitions); Who is Formless (having no Form or attributes by which to recognize); However, He can be realized by means of Omkara (by constantly contemplating on His sacred name, Om); and He is that Supreme being by whom this world is protected and in whom it gets dissolved.]

6."Na bhoomir na chaapo na vahnir na vaayur
na chakashamaaste na tandra na nidra,
na choshnam, na sheetam na desho na vesho,
na yatraasti moortih trimoorti tameede."

[I adore that Triune God* who is beyond the elements of earth, water, fire, air or ether; for whom there is neither sluggishness, nor sleep; whom neither heat nor cold ever affects; and who belongs neither to any country nor have any guise or appearance (by which to recognize) .
"Triune God = Lord Siva is so called, as he combines in Himself the attributes of Brahma, Vishnu and Maheshwara (Creator, Sustainer and Dissolver, respectively). ]

7."Ajam shaashvatam kaaranam kaaranaanaam
Shivam kevalam bhaasakam bhaasakaanaam,
Tureeyam tamah paaram aadyanta heenam,
prapadye param paavanam dwatta heenam."

[Give me refuge O Siva ! O the unborn and eternal one; You are the cause of all causes; all-exclusive; lighter of all the lights; the Supreme spirit; devoid of beginning and end; the first and foremost; pure and non-dual. ]

8."Namaste namaste vibho vishva moorte,
namaste namaste chidaanand murte,
namaste namaste tapo yoga gamya,
namaste namaste shruti gnaana gamya."

[Prostrations prostrations unto thee, O All pervading Lord ! O Embodiment of the universe! O consciousness-bliss. Repeated prostrations unto Thee, who dwells in the thoughts of the Yogis, and Who can be realized by the superior knowledge of the Veda]
