॥ द्वितीयॊऽध्यायः ॥

॥ षोडशः खण्डः ॥
-------------------

वसन्तो हिङ्कारो ग्रीष्मः प्रस्तावो वर्षा उद्गीथः शरत्प्रतिहारो हेमन्तो निधनमेतद्वैराजमृतुषु प्रोतम् ॥ १ ॥
स य एवमेतद्वैराजमृतुषु प्रोतं वेद विराजति प्रजया पशुभिर्ब्रह्मवर्चसेन सर्वमायुरेति ज्योग्जीवति महान्प्रजया पशुभिर्भवति महान्कीर्त्यर्तून्न निन्देत्तद्व्रतम् ॥ २ ॥

দ্বিতীয় অধ্যায়

ষোড় শ খন্ড
---------------
বসন্ত 'হিম-কার আর গ্রীষ্ম প্রস্তাবা ,
বর্ষা ঋতু উদ্গিত আর শরত প্রাতিহারা ||
শীত নিধানা হয়ে গায় যে সাম গান ,
এই ঋতু সকল মধ্যে বোনা বৈরাজ্য বুনন ||

যিনি জানেন এই বৈরাজ্য তার পবিত্র -প্রকাশ ,
গবাদি সন্তানাদি পরমায়ু নিয়ে ধরায় হয় বাস ,,
তার শপথ যেন হয় ঋতুতে না খুঁত ধরা ,
এ জগতে নিজ গৌরবে তার সার্থক বাস করা ||

[ Part Two :Chapter XVI :
The spring is Himkara, the summer - Prastava, the rainy season -Udgitha, the autumn- Pratihara,and the winter is Nidhana. This is the Vairaja Saman woven in the seasons.
He who thus knows this Vairaja Saman as woven in the seasons, shines with offspring, cattle and the holy aura born of sacred wisdom. He reaches the full length of life and lives gloriously, becomes great with offspring, cattle also with fame. He should take vow not to find fault with the seasons.]

पृथिवी हिङ्कारोऽन्तरिक्षं प्रस्तावो द्यौरुद्गीथो दिशः प्रतिहारः समुद्रो निधनमेताः शक्वर्यो लोकेषु प्रोताः ॥ १ ॥
स य एवमेताः शक्वर्यो लोकेषु प्रोता वेद लोकी भवति सर्वमायुरेति ज्योग्जीवति महान्प्रजया पशुभिर्भवति महान्कीर्त्या लोकान्न निन्देत्तद्व्रतम् ॥ २ ॥

সপ্তদশ খন্ড

ধরিত্রী হিম্কার গগন হয় যে প্রস্তাবা ,
স্বর্গ উদ্গিথ হয় তার বিভাগ প্রতিহারা ,,
সমুদ্র নিধানা এ যে সাক্ভরী সামা ,
জগত জুড়ে আচ্ছে এই সাকাভারী বোনা||

জানেন এরে যিনি তিনি হন  এ ধরায় প্রভু ,
অক্ষয় পরমায়ু , গৌরব ক্ষয় হয়নাকো কভু ,,
গব -গবাদি সন্তানাদি সহ হয়ে পূর্ণ ,
জগতে খুঁত না ধরার প্রতিজ্ঞাতে হবেন সম্পূর্ণ ||

The earth is Himkara, the sky is Prastava, heaven is Udgitha, the quarters are Pratihara, and the ocean is Nidhana. This is the Sakvari Saman woven in the worlds.He who thus knows this, becomes the possessor of the worlds, reaches the full length of life,lives gloriously,becomes great with offspring and cattle and great also with fame. He should take the vow of not finding fault with the worlds. ]
